Early Neolithic imagery in flux

Stone is often regarded as the ideal medium for long-term preservation of knowledge, it resistant to change. Early middle Pre-Pottery Neolithic Göbekli Tepe in southeastern Turkey has repeatedly been treated a prime example such external memorial storage durable stone.
